Q: Do I really need to download the Crossbar app?
A: Yes, all forms of communication will be via email and the Crossbar app; however, at tournaments coaches will solely use the Crossbar app for communication as this is the most efficient. This will keep parent's informed of when players need to be at the field for their first game, if there are any delays, or if there are any field changes, etc.
Q: My player is young for his grade and I'd like him to continuing playing on the same team he played on last season verses him moving up to the next team - is this possible?
A: Unfortunately, this is not possible due to tournament rules and regulations. Players are able to play up (example: an 8th grader playing on the HS team) but players are not able to play down (example: a 7th grader playing on the 5th/6th grade team).
Q: Do all players get equal playing time?
A: We are committed to fostering player development, teamwork, and competitive excellence. While we strive to provide meaningful opportunities for all athletes, playing time is not guaranteed to be equal. Coaching decisions are based on various factors.
Q: Does Madison Ducks provide equipment?
A: Madison Ducks does not provide equipment, but if you need equipment please reach out and we can provide resources for where to find whatever you are needing.
