History

Director Kody Sutton began playing lacrosse in the Madison area in second grade and quickly developed a deep passion for the game. That passion led him to compete at the high school and collegiate levels. After returning home from college in the spring of 2020, he began coaching for Madison-area club programs and high schools, where he discovered that sharing his love for lacrosse was just as fulfilling as playing it.

By the summer of 2022, Kody noticed a decline in the sport’s presence in the community. Programs in Stoughton, Madison Memorial, Madison LaFollette, and Baraboo had disappeared, while others experienced significant drops in participation. Determined to make a difference, he set out in the fall of 2022 to help revitalize lacrosse in the area by creating a program focused on fostering growth and a genuine love for the game.
