Code of Conduct

As a member of the Madison Ducks Lacrosse Club, I and my family commit to upholding the highest standards of sportsmanship, respect, and integrity. Therefore, I and my family, pledge to abide by the following code of conduct:

Respect and Sportsmanship

Respect Teammates and Coaches: Treat all teammates and coaches with respect, listen to their feedback, and support each other on and off the field.

Respect Opponents: Treat opponents with respect, acknowledging their efforts and abilities. Win with humility and lose with grace.

Respect Officials: Respect the decisions of referees and officials, understanding that they are integral to the game. Never argue or confront officials in a disrespectful manner, please contact the club director if there are issues during a game that need immediate attention. 

Sportsmanship: Display good sportsmanship at all times, regardless of the outcome of the game. 

Responsibility and Conduct

Bullying and Harassment (including social media): We do not tolerate any form of bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind whether in person or via social media. Promote an inclusive and supportive environment for all team members - Madison Ducks holds the right to terminate any member who is in violation of bullying and harassment terms without refund. 

Team Representation: Represent the team and the sport positively at all times, whether in uniform or not. Be mindful of actions and words, as they reflect on the team.
